LoudHoundMovement presents SILVERBACK, an evening-length dance theater production that explores the contradiction of perspective and reality in social, romantic, and political landscapes and challenges those realities in a series of crises. As distance increases between two people, the narrative arc of their relationship shifts, evolves, and is redefined by their environment. Silverback identifies those internal narratives that take root in our minds and the dangerous effects they can create. Drawing inspiration from literature, popular culture, and personal stories of the cast themselves, the work presents a woven collage of real experience and cliched representation asking the audience to analyze which relationships on stage are real and which ones are not.
