Stalwart Little Darlings
As a 2020 Center at West Park Object Movement Lab resident artist, I was selected to receive support from the Jim Henson Foundation to work on a solo puppetry project.
I began this series of six interconnected shorts in the weeks following my mother’s passing. It is an open-hearted investigation of our strange human bodies; inquiring what the peculiar conditions are for their formulation and dissolution. It peers into the ambiguous loss and fleeting moments of joy in the grieving process.
